Captains Corner
25th October 2007
It has not been the best week for me. Firstly I have
fractured my shoulder and secondly the lads lost at home to Snodland. It was
frustrating watching it from the dugout as I wanted to be out on the pitch, but
I am hoping to be back sooner rather than later.
We have so many injuries at the moment and the gaffer must be pulling his hair out! With some players back this week, I hope we can bounce back with a win, and it wont be too painful for me to watch from the dugout this week.
We didn't play as well as we could against Snodland, but we all know we are much better than that. We are a footballing side and we need to remember that, as when we play our football we can destroy teams. Good luck to the lads on Saturday.

Welcome again to the Captains Corner.
The weekend saw a very hard fought game with
us finishing with a 2-1 victory away at Orpington. We played some very good
football, while Orpington were very direct at times.
It was great to see Perko get off the mark with a brilliant strikers finish. Mylo then won the game for us with an absolute rocket!
A lot of praise must go to our defence for containing
Orpington. Nick Coxon was man of the match and deservedly so.
Now we go to Coney Hall on Saturday looking for our third win
in a row
Come on the boys

Welcome to the first captains corner of the season. I'm just going to write a little blog looking back each week at the weekends game.
Personally I am writing this with great pride after my hatrick against Lewisham at the weekend for this great club. I must give special thanks to Perko for winning two penalties.
We knew it was only going to be a matter of time before we gave someone a real beating. It was a scrappy game at times but I have always said that the sign of a title winning side is one who gets results when not necessarily playing its best.
We'll now push on and get this side to the top of the table!
Cheers Stocky.
